Welcome to ReelIQ. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ReelIQ mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service") operated by ReelIQ ("we," "us," or "our").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use ReelIQ. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's consent to use the Service. By using ReelIQ, you represent that you meet these requirements.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You agree to notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized use of your account.

You retain ownership of the content you submit to ReelIQ, including photos, catch logs, notes, and other data ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content as necessary to provide the Service to you.

You are responsible for Your Content and represent that you have the right to submit it. We do not claim ownership of Your Content.

5. Privacy

6. No Guarantee of Fishing Success

ReelIQ provides tools and analytics to help you understand your fishing patterns. The Service does not guarantee any particular fishing outcome. Analytics, trends, and insights are based on the data you provide and should be treated as informational, not predictive. Fishing success depends on many factors beyond the scope of any app.

7. Service Availability

We strive to keep ReelIQ available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable for any downtime or service interruptions.

8. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

ReelIQ may offer premium features through subscriptions or in-app purchases. If you purchase a subscription, you agree to the pricing and payment terms presented at the time of purchase. Subscriptions may auto-renew unless canceled in accordance with your app store's policies.

We reserve the right to change pricing for future subscription periods. Refunds are handled in accordance with the applicable app store's refund policies.

9. Intellectual Property

The ReelIQ name, logo, and all related branding, design, and software are the property of ReelIQ and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use our trademarks or branding without prior written permission.

10. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if we determine that your use of the Service poses a risk to us, other users, or the integrity of the Service.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REELIQ SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $50, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ReelIQ and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles.
