With your permission, ReelIQ collects precise or approximate location data when you log a catch. This data is used to place a pin on your private map and to associate environmental context with your catch. You can disable location access in your device settings at any time, though some features may be limited without it.

Weather and Environmental Data

When you log a catch, ReelIQ may automatically capture or retrieve contextual data such as weather conditions, air and water temperature, barometric pressure, wind, and moon phase. This data helps power the analytics and trend features of the app.

Device and Usage Information

We collect standard device and app usage information, such as device model, operating system version, app version, and interaction data. This information helps us improve the app, diagnose issues, and understand how the Service is used. We do not use this information to identify you personally.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the ReelIQ Service
• Store and organize your catch history
• Display your catches on your private map

When you share a catch with a friend, only the information associated with that specific catch is shared. Your broader catch history, location data, and analytics remain private.
