Will my fishing spots stay private?
Always. Your GPS coordinates and photos never leave your iPhone. There's no account, no server, no shared database. Other anglers cannot see where you fish.
What if the AI gets a species wrong?
The result screen has a "Wrong Species? Update" button right under the AI's guess. Tap it to pick from the model's alternative top guesses or search the full species list manually.
Do I need an account?
No. There's no sign-up, no email, no password. Download the app and start logging.
How much does it cost?
Your first 10 catches are free, forever. After that, ReelIQ Pro is $4.99/month or $29.99/year (about $2.50/month) and unlocks unlimited catches plus everything else — Today bite score, full Insights, the 7-day forecast, Solunar calendar, catch heatmap, share cards, and home screen widgets. The yearly plan includes a 7-day free trial for new subscribers.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Manage and cancel your subscription anytime in iOS Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → ReelIQ. There's no penalty, and you keep Pro access until the end of your current billing period. Your fishing logs are always yours to view — nothing gets deleted. To add new catches past the free 10-log limit, you'll need an active subscription again. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
